I finished fixing this typewriter just in time to make my 100th typewriter post before the end of 2013.
This typewriter has full Estonian layout with translated keys. So far I have only seen three of these:
this Olympia Simplex, Royal De Luxe which still needs some repair work before I can post it here and Corona Standard from Tallinn Type-In. .
All of them are made in 1920-1930. More common practice was just to add Õ letter to typewriters with German layout – Royal 10 and Royal Portable.
After Soviet occupation the only way to get new typewriters with Estonian layout was to make keys yourself at home, like on this Optima Elite 3 .
